Logos Hope community defines itself as non-profit organization, which promotes peace building a better future for child, conscience and community development. Crew works on a volunteer basis and have the same religious beliefs.
From post-civil war reconciliation in Papua New Guinea, building orphanages in Myanmar and Liberia, rebuilding houses in Nicaragua and Grenada, donating books in Sudan and East Timor and providing accessibility to literature, where it is needed the most. They hope to express practical love, encourage unity in diversity and inspire faith through what they do.
Logos Hope is a charitable ship, which travels around the world to share knowledge, help and hope. With a volunteer crew of 400 people from over 60 nationalities, the ship is a unique example of unity in cultural diversity. They are known as the world’s largest floating book fair and sell over 5,000 different titles of books at discounted rates in all the ports they visit. They also have an International Café and theatre on board. Teams from the ship go into the community to provide practical aid and help.
